Teaching local kids to be safe in the ocean

Most local children begin with no ability to put their face in the water. SLSC Koh Samui runs structured junior water safety sessions — ocean swimming, CPR, rip awareness and board skills — prioritising Thai and Myanmar children.

Sessions already run every Sunday at Nature Bar, Maenam, led by Australian SLSA-trained coaches. The foundation is live. The gap is scale, equipment and facilities.

Donations fund safety equipment, nippers kits, training resources and upgrades to facilities so more children can take part safely.
